I've got pleasure to contact with staff Stefano. He helped me to find parking place for my car, pick up my laggage and was ready to answer any questions any time.
Hotel staff is very kind.
No elevator, you have to carry your bags upstairs. No air condition, it was hot in the room, and if you open the window it is noisy from the traffic. Very poor breakfast, you get only bread and butter and jam, and for everything else you have to pay extra (plate with salami or plate with cheese is 4€, one yogurt or one portion of corn flakes is 2,5€, one egg is 1€). Hotel is too expensive for what it offers.
The hotel was about 15 mins walk from the station but on an easy to use tram route. The room was fine for a 2* ( the bathroom was a cavern of dark green 1970's tiling !!) But there was a lot of noise carried from adjoining rooms. The staff where very nice & the breakfast, rolls jam and cheese spread fine for the price charged. More items were available for an extra charge.
Location was excellent with only a 15 minute walk to town. Buss stop right out side the door and just take Number 1 buss into town or back out. staff friendly. Beds reasonably comfortable. Plenty of heating in winter.
Not enough pillows, not fridge or minibar. Breakfast was very basic and you have to pay extra for some of the things other hotels provide in a basic breakfast.
Hotel staff was very helpful and facilities are in high standard.
Veg food was not available at the connecting restaurant
Reasonably-priced hotel, only a few stops on frequent trolleybus route to rail station and city centre.
It was easy to find and provided free parking & internet. The staff were helpful.
The room was in need of a spruce up and the beds were not that comfortable.
Staff were helpful and the location was excellent with buses at the door. Having free parking and internet were much appreciated.
Very nice personnel, friendly and helpful. Good location, only 10 minutes walking away from the Lucern center.
Noisy street, regardless if the room faces the yard or street directly. This is a street leading to the Autobahn, so almost round the clock there is much traffic. Good thing is, that with a closed window the noise is minimal, we could sleep very well.
The night mamager/Receptionist/Cook etc, was great. He could do it all and didn't skip a beat. He was nice, helpful and was just there when you needed him. The room was for four people but they ran out of doubles, so we had a very large room for two of us.
I stayed as a single guest and I had a good overnight in luzern. Nice hotel, simple but good. All you needed for one night, I have got. Nice and clean room, friendly staff and w-lan 24 h without charging.
This hotel is good value when compared with the rest of Luzern but is a little basic. It is only a pleasant short walk to the centre. It is an ideal base.
I did not like the bad sheets, which appeared dirty.
We stayed here because we started looking for hotels late and it was the best we could find within our budget. Unlike what we anticipated, the location was not so bad. It was about 15 mins by bus #1 from Luzern train station. And #1 bus goes to the old part of the city and also to the place where you could take the cable car to Pilatus mountain. The staff who checked us in (I think he was the owner.) was very kind and helpful. He helped us carry our luggage upstairs and provided us a city map.
Almost everything except the location. The hotel smelled and I hated the bed and the bedding (inappropriate color for hotel bedding). At breakfast, you can't choose your seat. They labeled each table w/ room #. Breakfast was far too simple. I ordered a hard boiled egg for my child at extra charge and the staff brought us a cold egg from the fridge. So I asked if that was a boiled egg or a raw egg that it was refrigerator-cold, and she said ofcourse it was boiled and that's how it was there. Maybe it was her poor English that made her sound rude but she was not a kind staff at all. I saw a French guy complain about the coffee and she said that's how it was there and she thought the coffee was fine. Worst hotel staff ever seen!
well connected with bus no 1 from railway station. it was a pleasant stay there. Net was available free.
the breakfast was not good and there were very limited menu. There was traffic noise in the night.
